Publised by the U. S. Census Burear, by Augusta B. Fothergil and John
Mark Naugle, 1940. He is listed as residing in Goochland County, VA,
and having 1 white poll.
Giles was also shown as owing 3 lb. 14 s. 93/4d in "British Mercantile
Claims, 1775-1802", in THE VIRGINIA GENEALOGISTS, Vol. 7, p. 72,
which also stated that Giles removed to Davidson County, TN in 1797,
"still in debt, but reputed able to pay."
