WILLIAM EVERETTE BERRY, of Birmingham, Ala., was born Feb. 17, 1847, in Tippah county, Miss. His father, James Furman Berry, was born in Laurens county, SC. He lived in Tippah and Pontotoc counties, Miss., where he was a prominent physician. he died May, 1861, at the age of forty-one, from overwork in his profession. he was the son of William Berry, whose wife was a Halbert.
